Miss Loader was successful in her application and interview for a full me, permanent teaching position in this school. Although Miss Loader has been with us for two years, she has been working with us on a temporary contract. I’m sure you will all join me in congratulating her. Miss Loader was with us throughout our journey to being an ‘Outstanding’ school and it is a joy to have her on this superb team.
Please send in your yummy cakes (bought or baked) first thing on Friday 26th Feb. If you could kindly bring them to the kitchen where your lovely PTFA ladies will gather them up to sell to the children at break time.
I’d like to take this opportunity to welcome our new Vicar, Phillip Elliott, to our school. Phillip was licensed here in St Nicholas and St Laurence Primary School on 1st February by Nicholas Holtam, Bishop of Salisbury.

On the last day of term we received a letter from the Minister of State for Schools, Nick Gibb MP. He wrote to congratulate the children and staff for the schools continuing improved performance in National Key Stage 2 tests. Published results show that St Nicholas and St Laurence School is amongst the top 100 performing schools in the country.
