We will be receiving our annual visit from the Life Education Mobile Classroom on:
Wednesday 13 September and Thursday 14 September 2017
Life Education is a charity providing health and drug education support to schools. The specially equipped classroom provides an unforgettable experience for the children whilst contributing to our Personal, Social, Health and Citizenship curriculum. The fun, interactive and age-appropriate programmes help children to understand the wonders of the human body and how to look after it.
At Key Stage 1 they learn about healthy eating, being a good friend and the safe use of medicines.
At Key Stage 2 the experienced and trained Educators help children to consider the effects and risks associated with the use of drugs, including medicines, alcohol and tobacco. In addition, children learn skills of friendship and how to cope with bullying and peer pressure.
We would like to invite you to visit the Life Education Mobile Classroom on Wednesday 13 September at 2.30pm to find out more about what the children will be experiencing. The session will last 20 minutes and will start promptly.
A voluntary contribution of £3 per child or £5 per family is requested to help cover the cost of the visit.
