School to School Support

School to School Support

St Nicholas and St Laurence Primary School was judged to be an Outstanding School in June 2015. The Key Issue for the school is to increase the opportunities for senior and middle leaders to share their excellent practice widely, both locally and across the local authority.

One of our aims , as an Outstanding School, is to share and develop the very best practice and enable schools to work together and learn from each other to ensure children in our communities have the most inspirational education.

St Nicholas and St Laurence works in conjunction with the Wimborne Teaching School and Woodroof Teaching School to provide professional support to other schools.

The Head Teacher and members of the senior team are able to provide leadership training, mentoring and coaching. The school is also able to host NPQH placements.
