We have had the BEST day today.

An early morning train ride to Dorchester followed by a short walk to Wagamama was a great way to start the day. We each got our very own chef hat!

We were lucky enough to make our own fruit juices and prepared our lunches. We had to dip our chicken into flour, then egg and finally breadcrumbs. This was messy business but we learnt the importance of food hygiene whilst doing it.

Once we’d eaten and drank our creations we headed back to the train station and returned to school. The excitement for the sleepover was continuing to grow…

At 3pm when all the other children went home we had an extra long playtime. Whilst we were doing this the BBQ was being fired up. The smell was AMAZING. We all enjoyed our sausages and burgers.

Finally, after waiting all day, Mr David let us know that it was time for our movie night! We got our snacks and drinks and got comfortable in our places. Ratatouille was the film of choice.

We have just finished watching our movie and now we’re going to have a bedtime story before settling down and hopefully (the adults have their fingers crossed) going to sleep.
