Year 6 loved their sleepover at St Nicholas Church on the first Friday of December!
We all enjoyed a fish and chip supper, followed by singing around the ‘campfire’ with Diane Crumbleholme.
A carousel of activities kept everyone busy for the evening; gingerbread reindeer, sock snowmen and origami stars and wreaths were a great hit with the children!
We were warmed by hot chocolate with marshmallows before snuggling down in sleeping bags ready for the film show, although many stayed awake to watch Holes, Coco and Dr Dolittle before finally drifting off to sleep.
For breakfast, the children enjoyed croissants and juice before they were collected by their families.
A huge thank you to all members of staff for supporting this event especially at such a busy time of year, and special thanks to Sue, Judy, David, Philip and Diane for allowing us to use the church, and adding the extra sparkle!
